Patrick is an increasingly recognisable voice in the world of Music Education, in part due to the success of his Music Education podcast Teaching Notes. (See Presenter and Producer page for more info).
As well as being a qualified, and practising secondary school teacher, he is in demand as a speaker at Music Education conferences, and as an educational advisor.

Patrick has led numerous brass workshops in London and the North East, to hundreds of children. He is also a former peripatetic teacher (lower brass, and bass guitar), and in 2017, he co-led a brass workshop at the Royal Albert Hall alongside trumpeter Alison Balsom.
He has written educational resources for Rhinegold Publishing, and many are also available on TES.
